I just realized that I didn't write anything on Monday. oops!
Busy day with the team on their first day of ministry.
Can't remember any specifics right now. :)
But I know that God was blessing the day!!!

What is an MIR??

Surrendering to a life as a full-time Missionary means that my future is up to God's plan for each year, month and day. He will move me to the places He has planned for me to serve and will determine how long each of those 'seasons of service' will be.

As a Missionary in Residence, I will live in León, Nicaragua, serving with Living Grace Ministry, doing whatever God brings before me as a way to serve Him and bless others in Jesus' name.

I am very blessed to be a part of Living Grace Ministry, teaching Bible Study, training Women's Bible Study Leaders, teaching Sewing and other skills classes to equip people to provide for their families. Our classes also train women to be future teachers to multiply the work that God has started with Living Grace.

God allows me many opportunities to share my faith in Christ with people that I meet and build relationships with them, including other parts of Living Grace Ministry, such as, English classes and leading an English Bible Study Group.

This is a wonderful assignment for me as I continue to live and function as a Missionary who happens to reside in different locations as God calls. I am so blessed, challenged and humbled by this opportunity. Please pray for me and join me in this journey.

Healing for several friends and family members with a variety of illnesses
Diligence in healthy lifestyle - healing of liver problems and hearing loss

Support Information

My personal expenses while serving in Nicaragua per month (which includes: tithe, health insurance, medicines) are covered by a monthly check of $625 from First Baptist Church Rogers.

Ministry Costs (which include rent, utilities, food, transportation, curriculum, printing, supplies, etc.) are $1,750 per month.

Current average monthly income is: $800 from personal donations (which fluctuates monthly). An additional $750 is needed each month to meet budget.

God 'balances the books' for me each month through unexpected ways. I'm thankful for His provision through loving supporters.
